Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Numeris Digital Limited collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

Who we are

Numeris Digital Limited is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. We are a digital design and build agency based in the United Kingdom.

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, please contact us at hello@numeris.digital.

What information we collect and why

Brief submissions

When you complete the Submit Brief form, we collect the information you provide, which may include:

  • Your full name and job title or role
  • Your company or organisation name and website
  • Your email address and phone number
  • Details about your project — its goals, style preferences, pages, functionality, budget range and timeline
  • Links to brand assets or reference sites you share with us

We use this information solely to assess your project, respond to your enquiry, and — if you proceed — to deliver the work you commission from us. The lawful basis is legitimate interests (responding to a prospective client request) and, where a project proceeds, performance of a contract.

Direct email enquiries

If you email us directly, we will retain that correspondence to handle your enquiry and any resulting work. The lawful basis is legitimate interests.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website. Google Analytics collects information such as:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • How you arrived at the site (e.g. a search engine, a link, or direct)
  • Your approximate location (country and city, derived from your IP address)
  • Device type, operating system, and browser

This data is aggregated and anonymised — it is not used to identify you personally. We use it to improve the website and understand which content is most useful to our visitors. The lawful basis is legitimate interests.

Google Analytics data is processed by Google Ireland Limited and may be transferred to Google servers in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses. You can review Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Server logs

Our web hosting provider automatically records standard access log data when you visit the site, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and the date and time of each request. This data is used for security monitoring and troubleshooting and is retained for no longer than 30 days.

Cookies

This website uses two categories of cookies:

Functional cookies

These are strictly necessary for the site to operate. If you are a registered user and log in, we set login session cookies to keep you authenticated. These expire when you close your browser, or after 14 days if you select “Remember me”. We do not ask for consent to set functional cookies as they are required for the site to work.

Analytics cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies (including _ga and _gid) to distinguish visitors and track usage over time. These cookies do not contain personally identifiable information. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking in two ways:

Who we share your data with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your data may be processed by the following third parties, solely to support the services we provide:

  • Hosting provider — our website and email are hosted on servers in the UK or European Economic Area
  • Email service — brief submissions and enquiries are delivered to us via our email provider
  • Google Ireland Limited — analytics data is processed via Google Analytics under Standard Contractual Clauses

We do not share your information with any other third parties without your explicit consent, unless required to do so by law.

How long we keep your information

  • Brief submissions and email enquiries that do not result in a project — up to 12 months from your last contact with us
  • Information relating to a completed project — up to 6 years from project completion, in line with standard UK record-keeping requirements
  • Google Analytics data — retained for 14 months within Google’s systems (our default retention setting)
  • Server access logs — up to 30 days

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), you have the following rights in relation to personal information we hold about you:

  • Right of access — you can request a copy of the information we hold about you
  • Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your information, subject to any legal obligations we have to retain it
  • Right to restrict processing — you can ask us to limit how we use your information in certain circumstances
  • Right to data portability — you can request your information in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Right to object — you can object to our processing where we rely on legitimate interests as our lawful basis

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@numeris.digital. We will respond within one calendar month.
